Set in the tropical grounds between the golf course and the sea, the 172 suites are designed to create a sense of intimacy, elegance, simplicity and understated luxury. Junior or Club Junior Suites

These suites, covering a floor area of 62m², comprise accommodation with large terraces, towering wood and glass doors and panoramic bay windows, to take full advantage of the view over the sea. Upstairs suites have vaulted ceilings, adding to the sense of opulence. Spacious bathrooms face the mountains across the golf course. Interiors are decorated with understated luxury and elegant simplicity, using choice fabrics and rich wooden finishes.

Club Senior Suites

Occupying 115m², these suites resemble an upmarket home furnished with exquisite taste in fabrics and finishes. The lofty entrance leads into a living room and dining room and out onto a deep, large terrace, comfortably furnished with upholstered cane and wood. The large bedroom and bathroom are completely separate from the living area.

Restaurants & Bars

Fine eating has always been a tradition with Beachcomber. Dinarobin itself has three restaurants but along with its neighbouring hotel, Paradis, guests may choose to savour distinctive flavours at one of seven restaurants on the Le Morne Peninsula. L’HARMONIE adequately describes the relaxed and romantic atmosphere of Dinarobin’s main restaurant. Divided into three areas, the layout has been designed to give a feeling of intimacy with tables well spaced for privacy. The restaurant overlooks the pool and the sea beyond. Guests may dine on the many specialities on the buffet or order á la carte for fine food. SAVEURS DES ILES specialises in Mediterranean menus and is known as one of the best restaurants on the island. The cuisine is based on the original concept of a famous Michelin chef and is prepared with local ingredients to add to its uniquely Mauritian flavours. It shares an expansive view over the pool with L'Harmonie, and seats a maximum of 80 guests for dinner. LE MORNE PLAGE is where you can enjoy a drink and a snack or dinner without having to change out of your beachwear. This restaurant, situated right on the beach, is also the place for seafood barbecues and dinners on certain nights of the week. Opening for dinner is seasonal.  MAHOGANY BAR is the centre of conviviality and entertainment. Set right beside the pool, the Mahogany Bar comes alive at night with dancing till late. It is elegantly furnished for total relaxation. LA CABANON is a new bar right on the beach. It is a fantastic spot to socialize in a sophisticated atmosphere with your feet in the sand and sipping an ice cold cocktail.

Entertainment

The dedicated leisure and entertainment team will make sure that there is always activity going on at the hotel, in which every guest is free to take part: actively or as a spectator. A weekly entertainment programme is available to all residents.  Daytime entertainment includes numerous activities, which change according to a weekly programme. Spa & Fitness

The Spa by Clarins at Dinarobin is considered the best in Mauritius. Tucked against the mountain backdrop, the luxurious spa is divided into three sections, one for conventional treatments, another for balneotherapy and algeotherapy  and, more recently, a section devoted entirely to Ayurveda.  Yoga and meditation are also available in the peaceful surroundings.  The area set aside for Ayurvedic treatments consists of:  

• Four treatment rooms suitably decorated with an Indian theme
• Special tables imported from India made from wood with therapeutic qualities
• Qualified therapists from Kerala, India, the Mecca of Ayurveda, have trained local therapists in this advanced method of treatment.

Any workout a fitness fanatic could dream of is available at the modern Fitness Centre, where professional trainers are on hand with advice and assistance. Sections are dedicated to Cardio, Aerobics and Body Building.  Recently installed at  Dinarobin gym is a new machine, the professional  Vibrogym. The new machine works on a similar principle to “Power Plates” exercise but instead it is more intense. It was invented by a Russian scientist for cosmonauts returning from orbit to restore muscle tones after long periods in space. Fifteen minutes three times a week steadily builds up one’s muscle mass and tone again. Impact is in the form of straps which can be placed on different parts of the body. Use of the machine is free of charge but sessions must be booked in advance with a personal trainer.

This exclusive facility is offered to guests occupying the Club Senior Suites Beachfront and the Club Junior Suites Beachfront. A special lounge, the Martello offers members a place to relax and enjoy refreshments during the day. It also offers free use of Internet facilities and access to international newspapers. A Club manager is available to assist with any requirements.
