Pemba Island lies approximately 80 km northeast of Zanzibar Island. Pemba offers rich history, traditions, beaches, mangrove ecosystems, natural forests, and coral reefs with a multitude of marine species, and some of the best diving in the world. There are also many offshore islands with clean white beaches and a lot of interesting bird-life. There are a few exclusive resorts springing up on the islands. Pemba is just waiting to be explored.
