Seychelles
Seychelles comprises 115 islands in the western Indian Ocean with 74 outer islands and 41 inner islands. The outer islands are less visited due to the fact that they are so remote, but ideal for exclusive romantic honeymoon getaways. Seychelles’ warm climate makes it a year round destination. Accommodation is offered on the inner islands: Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. The Island resorts are situated on the remote outer islands. There are also opportunities for island-hopping between the islands.
Seychelles has no malaria, yellow fever, cholera or other common tropical diseases. Seychelles is 4 hours ahead of GMT. October to March offer calm sea and warm and humid days. In January and February the islands receive rains. The months between May and September bring drier, cooler weather, and livelier seas. The best time for swimming, snorkelling and especially diving is during April/May and October/November. The water temperature sometimes reaches 29degrees. You don’t need a visa to enter Seychelles. A visitor’s permit will be issued free of charge on arrival.
