Early morning and late afternoon / evening game drives are conducted in open 4 X 4 Land Rovers with well qualified and experienced field guides and trackers who will ensure an exciting and informative safari at Gomo Gomo Game Lodge in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve, South Africa. An optional bushwalk with your field guide will open up the world of some of South Africa’s intricate ecosystems with its varied fauna and flora.
Lodge
It is an intimate, child-friendly camp built on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River in the prestigious Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, one of South Africa's most pristine and unspoiled reserves. The lodge has a wooden viewing deck in the central area; as well as a lovely plunge pool for those hot summer days. Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck in an open thatch-roofed lapa overlooking the river, while dinner is served in traditional African style around a log fire in one of two bomas. At night the camp is lit by kerosene flares and storm lanterns, which contribute to the true bush safari ambience and experience.

Shaded by age-old Jackalberry and Leadwood trees, the camp comprises five fully furnished, thatched chalets and four East African-style luxury tents - all built in traditional style with en-suite facilities.
