Ngorogoro Crater Lodges

The Ngorogoro Crater - a world heritage site - is situated along the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania.  The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers more than 8 000 square kilometres of wilderness.  The ancient caldera of the once-volcanic Ngorongoro offers one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth - ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake. Olduvai Gorge is a famous archaeological site and situated to the west of the Crater.  About 42000 Masai live and herd their livestock in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area - it is quite spectacular to meet the Masai and see how they live.  This is one of the best experiences for a honeymoon couple to share on their special honeymoon.
