What to pack for your safari?

2 Long sleeved shirts (khaki, green, beige)

Safety tips

Keep up-to-date with local news.
Carry a record of your passport number and airline tickets.
Never leave cameras and hand luggage unattended.
Never pack valuables in your check-in luggage.
Make use of your lodge or hotel safety deposit box for valuables.
It is not advisable to walk alone in deserted streets, especially after dark.
Only taxis booked through a reputable taxi company should be used.
Always lock your car doors and keep your windows closed.
Simply stay aware of what’s going on around you.
All lodges have a set of rules that you need to follow to ensure your safety.
Don’t approach animals on foot or leave your vehicle to do so.
Listen to your guide at all times.
Avoid swimming in rivers that have hippos and crocodiles.

Day of arrival:

13h00 – Check in
14h00 – Lunch
15h00 – Relax at the lodge
16h00 – Afternoon tea, coffee, juice and cake
16h30 – Afternoon / evening game drive (at sunset you will stop for sundowners in the bush)
19h30 – Return to the lodge to freshen up and meet for pre-dinner drinks in the bar
20h00 – Dinner in open air boma around a log fire or in the dining area (weather permitting)

Day:

05h30 – Tea, coffee and rusks
06h00 – Morning game drive (refreshments served during safari)
09h00 – Breakfast
10h00 – Optional Walking Safari
11h00 – Relax at the lodge
14h00 – Lunch
15h00 – Relax at the lodge
16h00 – Afternoon tea, coffee, juice and cake
16h30 – Afternoon / evening game drive (at sunset you will stop for sundowners in the

19h30 – Return to the lodge to freshen up and meet for pre-dinner drinks in the bar
