Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa. It is bordered by Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. The country is famed for its huge protected wilderness areas. Kafue National Park is the largest game reserve in Africa.

Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and offers many adventure activities. Zambia also has many lakes and rivers. The lakes have beaches which are ideal for those who wish to swim and enjoy water-sport. The warmth of the Zambian people is also legendary and their friendly smiles and rich culture provide and unforgettable honeymoon vacation

There are 19 National Parks, including two of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa: the Luangwa Valley and the Kafue National Park.  The capital is Lusaka, but Livingstone is the key tourist centre.

Zambia has a moderate climate.  There are three seasons: warm and wet from December to April; cool and dry from May to August; and hot and dry from September to November.  Victoria Falls is the most spectacular during April and May when there is a lot of water pouring over the falls.  Game viewing is the best from June to October during the dry season.
