Additional activities not included in the price are helicopter flights, rafting, river boarding, kayaking, bunji jumping, gorge swinging, canoeing, elephant back safari, horse riding, fly fishing, golf, massage at the lodge spa, and day trips to Chobe National Park. The Zambezi National Park is located just across the river, and elephants can be seen on the river bank. A rich bird life is found in the area. Although this is not a game lodge, elephants can often be seen in the Zambezi National Park opposite and hippos are regularly seen and heard. For bird lovers there are nature trails around the lodge, boat cruises and island walks. Tiger fishing is an unforgettable challenge for keen fishermen, particularly during the warmer months.
Lodge
The River Club is situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. The camp has a distinct Edwardian flavour, and guests here enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds. The main building also has an interesting library, dining room, and drawing room. The lodge also offers card tables, board games, swimming pool, and a curio shop.
